I am looking for an alarm system to be installed and so confused about what brand is best. Kind of leaning towards Ness or maybe Hills. I also want to have it connected to an alarm company for monitoring. I only really know of NRMA since I have my insurance through them but unsure whether that is re...

Don't waste your $$$. I have one in each bathroom. I actually installed a second fan in both bathrooms because the suction is zilch! I actually made the electrician come back because I thought he had installed them incorrectly...it was so impossible to believe that this was how they were supposed to...

Is your bathroom, laundry, toilet floor height the same as the rest of your house or are they lower? Thanks.

As long as you are not changing anything on the exterior of the house you shouldn't even need council approval.

If I decide to go the owner builder route (in NSW) can I use a draftsman to draw up plans to submit to council or do I need an architect to draw them for me?

If I remove Gyprock that has been put over a rendered brick wall will it take the render off with it? Will I have to re-render the entire all or will it likely just need small patch work?

I know this is going to sound silly but I am sooo confused. Why does square set have to be any better than having cornice? Doesn't the roof have to be straight regardless? I just had my bathroom ceiling square set. It is a disaster! The last row of tile is yet to be laid but their is a difference in...

My gyprock rock guy sucks!!! He gyprocked over an entire wall that I was going to have patched with render. One ceiling is inches lower than all of the rest. And the other ceiling has a bow in it. I am so upset right now. I refuse to let this man near my house ever again. Does anyone have any really...

How are the edges finished? I just want the stainless steel between the cooktop and rangehood. There will not be anything else on the wall to the side of it, just paint. I have seem some photos when the steel stops at the start of the rangehood and some where it stops just after the hood of the rang...

I am not having any overhead cupboards in my kitchen. My kitchen is a galley kitchen with an L shape extension that leads into an open plan informal dining area and rumpus room, I then have two huge bi-fold doors that lead to my patio, pool and cabana. I felt that overhead cupboards would make my ki...

I am looking for a stainless steel splashback for between my cooktop and rangehood. I found one by omega. I was wondering if I could buy a utensil rail to stick on it as it does not have one? Also what other brands sell these? Thank you.
