We are building with Metricon which include the driveway. We closed the existing driveway and open new one. They told us that we need to get permit from transport nsw and it’s been more than 4 weeks. Does anyone know the contact number of TRansoprt NSW for permit? And how long do we wait to get it? ...

Hi all, I’m building my house and had CDC approved. They made the retaining wall before the house slab. On one side, the gap between neighbour fence to garage wall is less than 900 mm and from neighbours fence to retaining wall is 500 mm that left the distance very tight. My question are: 1. under c...

Hi, did you manage to sort out why Storm water was so expensive? The plumber came to the site and told my husband that it’s better to get above the ground OSD which he said it’s impossible to go behind existing granny flat. I wondered where Metricon had a quote from when the plumber told us this. I...

Always a good idea to get the certified engineering big ticket items, ie, siteworks, stormwater, footings, retaining, etc, etc in a 3D format that helps clients understand the engineering/construction details, data and costs. Forewarned is forearmed Otherwise you might well be in for $ticker $hock ...
Agreed … we were told they had 3 quotes and this is the cheapest and better way which now the plumber said impossible u...
