My build has been a nightmare, and now I have huge issues with the brickwork and mortar. See attached photos. I'm seeing lime pitting also I believe. Does anyone have an idea as to what the solutions could be. I'm worried our builder will give us the run around again. https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/...

So we paid around $1500 to upgrade to a nice freestanding bath, and unfortunately the bath was delivered and left on site almost a month before being installed. I went to go look and see a pretty sizeable chunk out of the bath either by the plumber installing it, or due to it being on site and moved...

So a Qld build, where would you like to start. 1) you have most of the roof on. Which means the next rain event, your gutters are going to channel the water to the downpipe nozzles, great! The only problem is there aren't any temp downpipes to connect the run-off to the stormwater. Meaning the wate...
I’ve just checked and we are on an H2 class site, so it’s ultra important then! Can I raise this to them?

Here’s the story So, the builder wrapped our house before Christmas, and over the break some wall wrap got damaged / ripped in half on the garage (and other areas of the house). I notified the builder who said it would be fixed prior to the house being bricked up. https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/1002...

Sounds like the Builder can't get trades to start at the price he's allocated for your Build Pity, your Builder isn't a Jack of All trades (Humour) Unfortunately, you'll be waiting a long time , in the meantime, Cost are increasing while there is a contract in Place Cheers Chris I think it's due to...

and have been told I won't have a per-construction meeting with the supervisor. Is this normal? I It sounds like he has too much work on (like everyone else in building industry), not to forget to mention the trade and material shortage. No point in scheduling meetings if no one is on site, for eg....

Is a pre-construction meeting with the supervisor agreed in your contract? Unfortunately not, I did think it was standard practice
