I suggest you try Poultic from AquaMix. If that does not work then hire a professional natural stone specialist. I know your tile are polished porcelain but natural stone experts are better then your regular tile cleaners.

The problem here is the tiler has done a bad job and needs to be redone. Sanded grout needs to be installed in wider grout joints. Skinny grout joints it will just fall out over time. Movement also can cause this and if there is a 12 mm deep crevice then this also needs to be filled up or grout will...

The carpet seller is at fault here for hiring a tradesman who does use power stretcher during the install. You will need it power stretched as the layers only used a knee kicker. Finding a layer who has a power stretcher is the tricky part and getting someone to pay for it is even harder.

Thanks for your reply. I did a forum search and nothing relevant came up, but a quick Google had heaps of results on the topic on these forums. Like others my concern is the slipperiness of polished porcelain but you can't beat the way it looks. ? It is not really that slippery when wet. I have see...

Polished porcelain is fine to use in wet areas. So much easier to clean. Can get slippery when wet for the elderly. Honed is ok too but can be hard to clean after time.

Clear sealing is better then no sealer at all. Clear sealers only stop deep staining so when it is cleaned you will have a better result then unsealed grout as it can look patchy after cleaning. Clear sealers sit just below the surface of the grout where as grout colourant`s sit on top of your grout...

Flush grout is a nightmare for home owners in trying to keep grout clean. You will find the grout that is not flush will stay cleaner longer. All tilers are required to make sure grout is recessed just below the tile which they call tooling.

I think you might have matt finish tiles and if so can cause your issues. I would try and find a neutral floor cleaner like this one. http://www.oateslaboratories.com/Category/research-products/hard-floor-care/general-purpose-cleaners/supastar

We see this all the time. We just use a clear silicon on frames better then nothing as all the hair etc gets trapped under the frame itself. I have never understood why they only silicon the external frame.

You can remove and connect new caulk to the existing caulk no problems, just make sure you skim just over old caulk. When caulking always work out of each corner. To remove old caulk use a sharp pocket knife. Once old caulk is removed dip a hand towel in Acetone and clean where the old caulk was bef...

Wow tough and messy job. Only high pressure would clean this but the mess it will make is not worth it. You could try a high alkaline tile and grout cleaner. Apply, scrub then rinse rinse. Maybe even vinegar could work test first.

I think is a good idea for the diy. I do not recommend in a wet areas though and the grout would be the first to peel off then the tiles.

Yes is this not a cheap exercise. My guess would be between $2000 and up to $5000. Water proofing will also need to be redone on the walls depending what state you live in.

I would go dark as well. Trying to blend the grout colour to match the tile makes rooms look larger too.

We use Aceton to remove silicon and is safe to use on caesarstone. Just check in a inconspicuous area first.

Hi Oh dear that is not looking to good. The reason for grout missing is because there must be movement and there is a void under the grout for some reason. Hard to tell but please call me on 0403 33 26 46 for more info so I can help you. I also noticed silicon missing in certain areas. Even if we ha...
