From the couple of quotes we've had it seems like getting batts in the roof is difficult, with tricky access meaning they'll likely need to be broken up and then passed through. The alternative I've been recommended is Cellulose Fibre. Practically it makes sense for a roof with tricky access and likely lots of nooks because of the homes age. I am however worried about the product itself. Do you have any recommendations on which way to go? I am looking for an unbiased opinion, which is proving hard to find. End of the day blow-in insulation is better than no insulation though any trades having to work in the ceiling space will hate you. Does the house have down lights?
