Thanks, Bruce Re: Our new family home Metricon Metro 32 QLD 389Jan 17, 2017 7:29 pm beac_faith We had our tile and studio M selections yesterday and had quite a bit of fun, although having to deal with an episode of toddler meltdown but that was pretty much expected. I'm going to share about our tiles first. Main flooring (entry, living, dining, kitchen, butler's pantry, rumpus, laundry) is majestic limestone 600 X 600 mm. It's one of the affordable porcelain tiles that was within our budget It's sort of an ivory colour with subtle streaks of darker tones Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Wet area floors and walls (powder, WC, bath, ensuite) is Portifino Shell Shine 400 X 400mm. The Portifino Shell Shine 400 X 400mm. Looks really good. We were thinking of them for the kids bathroom. Re: Our new family home Metricon Metro 32 QLD 391Jan 17, 2017 8:11 pm Our bathroom sinks have arrived, along with our stock standard laundry unit and kitchen sink. The tiles were cut at the kitchen/pantry border and now the two areas seem disconnected from one another same thing with the laundry area but it's not as bad as the kitchen/pantry. I'm going to have to bring this up with SM but I'm not sure if he's going to agree about re-doing them Kitchen/pantry Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Laundry Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Our new family home Metricon Metro 32 QLD 393Jan 17, 2017 9:41 pm Omg, nice colour selection...we are still at brick stage ??? We'll be away on holidays next week and the week after. It will be tough not being able to check on progress! SM has promised to email pictures while we're away. I feel our build progressed really quick till the frame stage, and has now kinda slowed down. On the other hand, Beac seems to have found the formula to get her build blaze its way through! Re: Our new family home Metricon Metro 32 QLD 400Jan 19, 2017 10:20 am Decided to do a drive by this morning on the way to the shops. Saw our SM standing there so I got down from the car to introduce myself (it has always been hubby dealing with him). He asked me to go in to take a look at the house but I couldn't, since I had the baby and toddler in the car with me. He says he understands how important the kitchen and pantry areas are to me and has agreed to re-do my pantry tiles so there wouldn't be so many joints at the door was also very happy to see the guys doing the rendering right now. Our cladding sheets have also turned up and will be put up today SM said our lock up and fixing invoices should come within the next week double whammy Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Keen to hear from people in the area who have got KDRB done on whom they got the build from?
