Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 88Mar 15, 2017 9:44 pm We are in Stage 7 - Centrepiece release and I rang Caitlyn at the sales office a few weeks ago asking whether we are still on track for August title.. She said that she had not be advised any different. But seeing that the first few stage have been delayed so much, I cant see how they can still make that Aug timeline. Be nice if they had some sort of resident page that showed progress of each stage so you could better gauged if your release will be on time or not. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 89Mar 16, 2017 4:09 pm With most estates down our way. I haven't seen a stage 1,2,3 that has released in time. Going by ours, once they title the top part of the estate the rest of the releases should title on time as all the piping and roads are in place. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 90Mar 17, 2017 7:58 am Yup Spring release....6 months delay(*sigh*). I'm not keeping hopes up this time..I'm guessing it's going get further pushed to Aug/Sept. It's really disappointing and frustrating. Any idea if we're still within bush fire zone? Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 91Mar 18, 2017 1:05 pm If you go to this site http://services.land.vic.gov.au/maps/bushfire.jsp And put in your lot number and street name it'll show where the bushfire zone is. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 92Mar 18, 2017 1:09 pm Also, I've emailed lands victoria for the next update on the bushfire zoning. They stated the next update will be around May. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 95Mar 23, 2017 3:06 pm They released it in a funny way. First was harvest Second was Parkside Third was Selino Fourth was Spring Fifth was Springfield Sixth was Mayune Seventh was Centrepiece Eighth was Kenyan Our release the Mayune was suppose to be stage 14 but they wanted to release the north side of the estate together. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 96Mar 23, 2017 4:56 pm Ok thanks for clearing that up ... Most estate like to use the Lot number to identify the stage, but Eliston is all over the place and maybe this is part of the reason? We are after you in Stage 7 - Centrepiece, but lot number start with a 4## so gets a little confusing... So seeing as Stage 6 has been delayed I called NPP today to see if Stage 7 will also be delayed. The answer I got was yes, the person I spoke to, acknowledge that the communication coming out of NPP to the residents has been very poor and that they are trying to be more proactive in sending communication to the residents so we can be better prepared for the delays... He acknowledge we need to be better informed since some builders only hold pricing for a certain period and we are residents are being hit with fees for land being titled late. Some of the main reason for the delay was bad weather last year delay the first stages by several months and that there is some much activity in the area that everything is backup, Council, lands dept and solicitors are getting swapped in paper work and cant turn it around fast enough and that all new release with be dated with a more realistic date in seeing whats happened so far... For Stage 7 was Aug and looks like it will be Nov now, and a email will be sent out within the next few weeks to Stage 7 Residents advising of this change. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 97Mar 23, 2017 8:03 pm We checked the threads for all the recent estates when we brought our block. Not one estate had their 1st 2nd or 3rd release on time. It'd be great if the estate paid the builder late fees if the release are late. Obviously that'll never happen as the developers will always blame everything but themselves. On a positive, stage 2 and 3 are at lands Victoria and there's houses popping up all over the place on stage 1 Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 99Mar 25, 2017 2:58 pm No worries at all tandh. I know there's a Facebook page for Eliston but not much info on it. It's good to let each other know what's going on in the estate. I do enjoy the drama:-D In his latest two videos he has started bringing security guards to site, I am waiting for the punch on to begin lol 6 45484 It's all about wireless, self install now.
