They have snakes in the area, big a small going onto the walking path and into the Bush land. There are no lights in the area so in darkness you could have a close encounter. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 590Mar 06, 2017 10:46 am Hogan's site office is no longer on stage 2 and Winslow are now clearing the roads of excess stones and soil. Evergreen truck was on site for stage one, google and see what they do. Also think Hogan's site office is now next to the Winslow site office. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 592Mar 09, 2017 9:14 pm Not a good news for either of us, stage 1 or stage 2 if we compare winslow and FH works in past few weeks.... Also, i did see a light pole broken in Stage-1 ... seriously not confident on winslow at the moment... Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 594Mar 16, 2017 6:31 pm Preliminary stages of the roads were rolled out in stage two and it’s in preparation for the gutters to be done. They were there at 6 tonight still working to finish. Thanks to Hogan’s effort stage 2 is well on target if they get the gutters done before end of March. Stage one is sitting there like a ghost town and no work is done on it, it’s been about three weeks now. Think it could be the council requiring developer to do things as per section 5.1.1 but no one from Oliver Hume will talk, always not available. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 595Mar 19, 2017 1:22 pm Visited the site yesterday and there has been a lot of work done and still a lot to do. Roads towards the end of stage 2 still needs to be done and the lots need levelling. Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 597Mar 20, 2017 5:05 pm Puddlette We visited yesterday. I really don't believe that we'll be titling in May. Any news on stage one? Surely titles can't be that far away now? Stage 2 is not about if it can finish work on time right now and we can thank Hogan for that. They are on target and lets hope they don't slack up. Stage 1 isn't titled and if there is a problem there between developer and Council then it doesn't matter if stage 2 is finished. The problem with stage one will apply to stage 2 as well. I have sent an email to Oliver Hume as people that have invested in South Siding have a right to know what is going on. Hey Ting Ting, did u hear anything from oliver hume yet? Re: anyone buying land in officer VIC(South Siding estate)? 600Mar 22, 2017 6:00 pm Puddlette So on M Tucker and Sons website's 'about us'.... "We provide civil and trenchless solutions for a wide range of defects in sewer and storm-water". I take it that the previous contractor's work on the storm water/sewerage system requires a bit of fix up. Well that's lovely. I wish I could be optimistic re stage 2 but we still do not think we will be in by Christmas. I'm hoping for the sake of stage 1 residents that they are. I dug up the above quote from Feb 3 and it is why stage one has no title as yet, and they have not even put in for Title. You need certificate's and what other paper work from the respective authority for Sewer, water, power and what ever else. When you get the paper work from the respective authority then you proceed for title, They come and inspect and they give the OK by forwarding the paper work for the what was done by winslow. They haven't got the paper work yet and God knows when they will. If things are good they get it if things are not they don't and will just say, " we are still waiting for paper work from the respective authority" No point calling the council because they haven't even put in for title. Maybe tomorrow they get the paper work, maybe next week, maybe next month. It may also be that the authorities are slow with their paperwork. Yeah I don't know why I came to a forum. Place is full of wierdos/pedos thought internet may help but I suppose I'll try my luck with someone in person. Cheers. I tried… 0 6444 Well these guys are not looking good...
