Sorry, but sadly the vandalism might continue because they are opportunists and they have found a place to vandal (but I really hope they will stop), sure they will be local kids... We're having a smoked mirror, glass splashback. Do you have any suggestions for how we can go about changing the back of the island so it's grey? We'll get a quote from the people who are doing our splashback but I don't want it to cost big-bucks! Kicking myself for not paying the $400 for Simonds to do it now grrr Re: Building with Simonds in Adelaide 773Feb 24, 2017 4:07 pm nouveauhomes Love your architect plan and design Thank you Re: Building with Simonds in Adelaide 774Feb 24, 2017 4:16 pm Wow, it really is moving quick now. I cannot wait for your finished kitchen. How do you feel towards 20mm stone? Do you wish you have gone thicker or happy with the look? It is just that we are still thinking if we get 20mm or 30mm stone. Hombre likes the look of the 20mm while I would like it to be a bit thicker. Bugger about those kids. Hope you or your builder catch them so they can be taught a lesson. I like the 20mm stone, hubby preferred the 40mm but that was way too expensive so we stuck with the 20mm and I'm glad we did, I like the look, just need to book a proper walk though so I can look at it close up Re: Building with Simonds in Adelaide 777Feb 24, 2017 4:47 pm RegVic Marshall5858 RegVic Will it be a mirrored splashback (I guess) or a window splashback....
