My husband and I are separating and the joys the house gave me in the beginning of the build have obviously become more of a chore and a tie to him which has been hard. We will live in the house together for some time as there is no other practical option but for now my lovely home is just a practical option. We have PCI on Thursday, well we did - but we cannot agree on a time with the builder. With my shifts and husband working in a uni with a new term we have no other spare time apart from Friday tea time but our builder has a function. The bank are supposed to have paid all required funds by Monday in order to handover on Friday the following week. We are homeless at the end of the month. Im taking things one day at a time for now, just hope it all comes together. My lovely black and white theatre room is now Bedroom number 5 for my husband! Re: GJ Gardner - modified Peninsula 255sqm 771Feb 14, 2017 5:35 pm Totally devastated for you, your home is such a great achievement. It's stunning I would like to move in pleaseyou have to admit it's a bloody beautiful practical option.... For now the furniture and pool are on pause 😢 Re: GJ Gardner - modified Peninsula 255sqm 773Feb 15, 2017 1:36 pm Towns I am just gutted reading this! I am sorry you are going through this, a time that's should be full of joy is a time of heartache for you Your house is just a stunning piece of art!! I love that entry light I hope things work out for you towns!! There are other positives to come out of the situation bit far too personal for homeone... Ill be good. PCI today. Re: GJ Gardner - modified Peninsula 255sqm 775Feb 18, 2017 9:41 am Oh towns. While it's not what you thought it was going to be, life has a funny way of turning out. Thinking of you today. X - otherwise known as Kym - Re: GJ Gardner - modified Peninsula 255sqm 776Feb 18, 2017 4:58 pm Your entry is beautiful . Sad to hear things haven't turned out the way you expected. It must be hard going through it all when your family live in a different country. Looking for the silver lining is the best way to get through it. I know it's cliche but 'when one door closes....'. It's good that you have been able to compromise with your ex for now and you will get a chance to live in your dream home. Have you got a handover date yet? Re: GJ Gardner - modified Peninsula 255sqm 778Feb 18, 2017 5:40 pm Handover went well barely anything wrong but few paint fixes and wrong door handle to the garage. Possible handover Thursday all going well as Form 21 already sent off. Re: GJ Gardner - modified Peninsula 255sqm 780Feb 18, 2017 10:59 pm Oh wow that is the best finished customer house I've seen (i haven't seen many though), it's display home like! Congrats! Is GJ Gardner expensive? Atm I have tender requests with Rawson and Wisdom but it seems like I will have to go through with a custom split level design as I have a 1.5m diagonal sloping lot and require a granny at the back. I called them today, they quoted me $150k for a custom 60m2 granny and $400k for the Twin Waters 292, it wasn't a formal quote however but it's still cheaper than the quotes I've received. May I ask why you chose not to use GJ Gardiner? I'm actually meeting with one of the sales guys tomorrow for an appointment. Definitely not signing anything yet… 3 13257 |
