Fast forwarded + photo heavy 107Mar 12, 2016 9:49 pm Today we had the pool side crushed rock filled to have it ready for pouring sometime next week. Already feels good to be able to step outside without getting dirty. The capping on top of the render was completed last week. Fast forwarded + photo heavy 108Mar 12, 2016 9:59 pm We were initially going to get paving done for the pool coping but after consulting my concreting mates they said they can run the exposed aggregate around the pool as well which will give us a consistent look outside from the lounge down past master bedroom. Aiming to have a finish similar to below but in bluestone aggregate. They will need to make a form around the pool = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Custom owner build in Hume - VIC - Tiling Stage http://goo.gl/qpPglB Re: OB in Hume area - VIC. Fast forwarded + photo heavy 109Mar 12, 2016 10:19 pm In other news, our 80mm benchtops arrived yesterday bar one of the pieces for the kitchen island. We went with a company called RHF Stone and the finish is a called Calacutta Borghini. Pretty happy with the marble look as the white goes with the kitchen and the grey veins should tie in nicely with the polished concrete and grey in parts of the kitchen. Fast forwarded + photo heavy 110Mar 12, 2016 10:41 pm Our plastering is ALMOST finished after sacking our first guy. Can't believe it has taken us 8 weeks to finish plastering(!). Am told he has around 3 days of work left before we can bring the painter in. We got a flush to the ceiling manhole with a click-latch system (no architraves). The bottom skirtings are also coming along well. Fast forwarded + photo heavy 114Mar 12, 2016 10:57 pm Hi Haji, Love your house. I had a few questions what is ezyjambs? As you mentioned in your earlier posts you will be having the concrete running through the showers did you have to have the shower area waterproofed? Re: OB in Hume area - VIC. Fast forwarded + photo heavy 115Mar 12, 2016 11:44 pm gablesrocks Hi Haji, Love your house. I had a few questions what is ezyjambs? As you mentioned in your earlier posts you will be having the concrete running through the showers did you have to have the shower area waterproofed? Ezyjambs is basically a door jamb kit without any architraves, creating a flush finish look as per our master bedroom photo. As for the shower base, since this will also be polished concrete we didn't need to get any of the floors waterproofed, just the shower and bathtub wall. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Custom owner build in Hume - VIC - Tiling Stage http://goo.gl/qpPglB Re: OB in Hume area - VIC. In the meantime, I thought I will muck around in photoshop to see what the end product should look like. Ended up choosing option 2 from previous page. Also the floor you mentioned it is going to be grind and sealed is that similar to burnished? Re: OB in Hume area - VIC.
