Just covering each room adequately with lighting and power and data where required quickly added up. We spent a bit more on the neo tastic 3 in 1 heat light and fan for the bathrooms, because I've used them previously. That gives me a bit more insight. To be honest i didnt even think about lighting. Only thought about power points and light switches. What was the cost of the Neo tastic and which model did you go for? I thought we got them as part of the promotion. Re: Mojo Homes 332Aug 08, 2016 7:10 am ahoythere Our electricals when to 10k. Even though I have 5k provision, I have budgeted for 10k especially to make sure ground floor is futureproof. Re: Mojo Homes 333Aug 08, 2016 8:07 am Congrats Mys welcome to the waiting game Home. Can you give a little bit more info on what kind of future proofing i should be thinking about? Thanks in advance Re: Mojo Homes 334Aug 08, 2016 8:20 am w1ck3d homes Congrats Mys welcome to the waiting game Home. Can you give a little bit more info on what kind of future proofing i should be thinking about? Thanks in advance My electrician friend has told me to get extra power points and ceiling fans provision on ground floor. It is generally quite difficult to make any electrical changes to ground floor once the house is built. Also thinking of cat6 cabling throughout the house which will also serve for landline if required. I may also go for LED down lights in living, kitchen, hallway, study, HT, master bed, children's activity and ensuite. Re: Mojo Homes 336Aug 08, 2016 8:44 am Unfortunately no. Ill be chasing them up this week to find out the status. I had a handful of changes in the initial quotation so I'm waiting in a revised for that. Did you end up signing on the old pricelist of new with the tesla pack? Re: Mojo Homes 337Aug 08, 2016 10:12 am Hi...We have looked at Enigma 36 with some changes...Anyone here building a Enigma 36? We had quite a few changes as well so will be waiting for the revised tender. We got the old price with old promotions, I think it was better value. Solar should come down in price next year when our builds commence. Re: Mojo Homes 339Aug 09, 2016 12:28 am mys013, the neo tastic wasn't a special for us. There was a provision for a basic one that had a $400 credit. It was $400 extra to go to the neo tastic each. HomeTweetHome We're looking at Nova 38. On paper the items they include as standard and the current offers have some very nice upgrades but its they things which aren't included which I'm concerned about. Roof sarking and Wall wrapping don't appear to be included for instance, from people who have been through the process other than the usual stuff like electrical and upgrades to things like stairs did anyone find that there were some core home items which were missing or were necessary to be upgraded because the item included was poor? We're looking at building a Soul 40 with only minimal changes to the design as it is pretty much spot on for us.
