Just a question in regards to contract start date. Our start date is 31st March. There is no way our land will be registered/ our plans through council by then. Since we will be in breach of contract, does anyone know how much coral charge us? You should get the extra 4 weeks on top of that too hopefully, so you should have till last week of April. Im starting to get nervous now, I didn't realise how expensive the fee is if you go over http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=84825 Coral - Marcoola 32 Re: Coral Homes general build thread 7849Mar 05, 2017 1:13 pm Re: Coral Homes general build thread 7850Mar 05, 2017 1:25 pm Whitey22 ^^^is the extra 4 weeks due to the shutdown over christmas ? Thanks Im actually not quite sure why, i just got a call last week to warn me that my contract date was approaching but, the lady said that we do also get an extra 4 weeks which gives us till end of May to start our build instead of end of April. I might need to ask her about it http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=84825 Coral - Marcoola 32 Re: Coral Homes general build thread 7851Mar 05, 2017 1:25 pm kikihome Whitey22 ^^^is the extra 4 weeks due to the shutdown over christmas ? Just a question in regards to contract start date. Our start date is 31st March. There is no way our land will be registered/ our plans through council by then. Since we will be in breach of contract, does anyone know how much coral charge us? We went over ours by a few weeks and didn't get charged anything. I guess it depends how far you go over. How far away is your land from being registered? That's the million dollar question! Land is suppose to be finished by end of March. But then it still needs to go to council for approval. And titles office. So really it could be another 2-3 months Re: Coral Homes general build thread 7857Mar 05, 2017 6:33 pm Hi Kikihome I found this: https://www.dunlin.com.au/products/tita ... ight-black Check this out. How good are you!! Re: Coral Homes general build thread 7860Mar 05, 2017 7:55 pm A bit of frustration going on. Coral won't let us build our shed while the house is being built. We are on an acre and it is 40 metres away! There will be no impact on the build. So it looks like the shed will come out of council then go on hold until after handover. So disappointing. They are so inconsistent too - they have allowed others to build sheds while the house is being built. You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 8568 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 7216 Hi, Apologies - I know there is plenty out there on this but struggling to put together the puzzle.
