Hi All ,
I am buying a house and land package in Elara .
My builder is proposing to build a Single Storey house .
When I am checking the documents of the land , I found this clause ..
"No dwelling is permitted to construct unless it is a double storey dwelling ."
I am wondering why the builder choose single storey for this lot ?
I still need to check with my builder and conveyancer , I am just trying to see in the forum if there are people who know this clause and if we are allowed to construct single storey in such lot .
Officially from Elara , whom we need to enquire about this to get an official view which will help in discussing with builder.

I think i seen that package. It was on john Black drive right?
I'm building on that street and my contract stated that we had to be double story. it's the same for Elara blvd.
