Which is why I don't understand why our roof tile has not been accepted when the colour is obviously dark grey next to the black! It's very frustrating...
I can feel your pain! Really want to cheer you up some how, so made the bad joke... Apologies if it made it worse... Did you speak to them to explain the same? Can someone re-visit the case for you? If not.. Hope you can find a different shade of grey which you like and can be approved as well!
I get it! I'm not being defensive - I'm just having a whinge! The plans have been approved - on the condition that we change those colours, and then they have suggested two colours - so not sure if we have to pick those colours or if we can choose a different colour, but then have to resubmit again!! Too complicated... I don't understand their reasoning when we can argue that we have complied. We are thinking about sending them an email with our arguments to see how we go. It won't hold up approvals for Council or building but it's just annoying and I hope it doesn't happen to anybody else. Re: Building at Willowdale 1426Jul 04, 2015 7:00 am We had our bricks originally knocked back because the texture and finish was a bit too rough. Driveway and roof needs to be a shade of grey as per the design guidelines. Our timber look garage door cost around $350 on top of the basic colours they off part of the building package.
