Our lower roof was left like that for a few weeks. I think we did get some showers of rain. Gibson - last inspection with the SS which was right before gyprock he said he was concerned that it wouldn't finish before end of contract then in the next breath he said that his never had a contract go over. Someone was there all day on Monday doing something. I don't think anyone was there yesterday or today. SS said that tiling was booked for this week, I haven't seen any tiles arrive. I would of thought they'd be delivered into the garage. We had torrential rain Wednesday and yesterday morning but as soon as it stopped yesterday they were on site putting battens on the roof! We really can't complain about progress! Six weeks and the roof is nearly on! Will be interesting to see if they work today and tomorrow to get it done now! The kids want us to put "handball squares" down the other side, aka expensive concrete. NJC - That is exactly what I said at the beginning. Then it sat and done nothing for 8 weeks! Frame went up really fast then very little happened for 7 weeks. There must be a general lack of good Brickies around. Once our bricks started to go up I thought we would have a fast run, until they pulled some of the walls down again! I'm glad in a way as it shows someone wasn't happy with the quality of the work. I just hope that means they are paying more attention for the new brick work.
