Damages end at this point if you are over contract so try and have as little to do as possible. In theory they should take two weeks to fix items on the list. This sometimes does not happen. You do need to push them to get things finished. If they take an unreasonable amount of time you can take it further. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 12166Sep 09, 2016 7:51 pm Marina, as much as I believe that the problem SHOULD be fixed by M or the air con company (either the air con people didn't tell M the correct size of the unit, or M didn't allow for the size when planning where to put it), have you approached the air-con company directly to see if they can just move it to the side of the window (closer to the water heater)? Maybe rotating it 90 degrees so that it won't obscure the view from the window? As the cabling/hoses would allow for this without any modification, it wouldn't cost much - probably just a call out fee and 15 minutes of their time. I would imagine it would be less than $100. Whilst I appreciate that it certainly shouldn't be your problem, and that M should be having it fixed, at some point personally I would have to call it quits on waiting for M to come to the party and organize it, and would have to do it myself. Hopefully it will be a simple fix! The brickie said that they were just wet But i took pics last week when the bottom were wet and they look different to the others. Maybe they a different batch as they ran out of bricks. I take daily pics , I will text site supervisor to check it out Monday. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 12175Sep 10, 2016 6:46 pm For those already built, can you please post a pic of your rain water tank. I'm interested to see what the plumbing to the tank looks like, we've just moved the location of our rain water tank. Also, do they generate much noise? Can't hear it unless I'm standing next to the tank. Only thing I would say is, where the pipes/rainbank is on the back of the house, this is on the outside of my sons bedroom. He can hear the water shutting on and off when the washing machine is on. Minor noise, but probably annoying if you're trying to sleep! Let me know if there is any other info/pictures you need!
