MartinsHarmony - It's cheaper to it after handover. I know its more of a pain but when you've got so much other stuff to pay for after handover, for us we needed to save every cent we could. Gyprock/dry wall/plaster whatever its called these days was going in today. I could see the garage and entry hall was done. I cant wait to see it finished. Do they also do the cornice ? I thought I could see it sitting in the garage waiting to be installed. I really don't like this new layout of this forum. Big week for us, waterproofing, stairs and all cabinetry installed throughout the house. Martinsharmony post handover is cheaper, we were the same as SVE we just want to save as much but it's a balance so depends if you just want to move in and have a small list of items as its a lot of time to get to driveways, landscaping, unpacking and nesting. Trying to find trades is hard too as they are equally busy at the moment. I've been lucky my husband has done so much from tiling to, drainage points in our backyard to helping me shop.
