Re: Classic style weatherboard Melbourne - Leadlighting's in 284Oct 06, 2013 10:41 am cinder Hi BB. The last pic there is the one with a swatch of the paint against the open door, and hubby's up at the house so I'll get him to text me a photo of the closed door. That'd be awesome!! No problem It really only takes a few minutes and its invaluable. So far I have learned how to use Chief Architect and Photoshop and at this point I am seriously thinking about taking a design course. Its pretty fun when you are not battling with builders. Today is my lazy day and I'm just hanging around the computer pinning and chatting. I've found out on Wed I may be getting some weatherboard so I am quite excited. They are using some sort of cladding over the roof and not brick due to weight so i convinced them the whole front needs to be weather board. So i am trying to find examples of half brick/ weather board facades I like and then recoloring them. Decorate your home. It gives the illusion that your life is more interesting than it really is. A lot of the units around here are brick ground floor and weatherboard upper story. The display home of what we're building is like that but it's in Federation style so probably not helpful. In regards to the light blue, I actually DO think it works looking at your photo. But SCG is right, it does somewhat detract from the leadlighting, but then so would probably the navy blue... Your variation actually looks better than the swatch, but we couldn't get that exact colour. Well we probably could but neither sample pot we got turned out to be that light. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!! And thank you for putting your spare time to this! And I will save the file so if you find another color all it will take is 2 clicks and I can change it. And again no problem. I find this to be fun. And I have to agree the blue is distracting hence why i tried the lighter variations. I think the black is too austere though and distracts in its own way. Navy might be the key One moment and I'll be back with some Navy blues. Decorate your home. It gives the illusion that your life is more interesting than it really is. Great work If you go back to page 10 BB, that's the colour we were trying to mimic, but the a*holes (sorry) wouldn't tell us the colour unless we paid $110.
