Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Feb 28, 2012 9:11 am Ive been browsing homeone for a while now, getting ideas and tips. Building my first home, its a small two storey townhouse Did selections on the weekend and my partner and I LOVED the Basin and matching tile in the pic (please excuse the sales lady in the reflection) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ however, because our bathroom is so small (see pic) the basin and matching tiles would be too cramped and just wont seem to work the lady at beaumonts said the tile cant be cut because its a foil type and given the tiles are about $48 and the basin nearly $700 its a lot of money to do if it looks cramped and nasty Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ So if anyone has ideas or opinions (photos would be lovely) of what theme i should do my bathroom that would be great ! Im thinking a Chocolate stone top bench maybe and darker tiles but not too dark so it closes the small space in. I have no bathroom window but a prismatic ventilated skylight. We are using Caeser Stone, I quite liked the Cocoa Fudge http://www.caesarstone.com.au/Colours.aspx We were so in love with the foil basin and tile we just cant think of how we want the bathroom now, so any opinions are welcomed, or ideas to make the beloved foil tile and basin work Re: Stuck on a bathroom colour/theme, opinions and ideas ple 2Feb 28, 2012 9:30 am What about using the foil tile in the shower as a feature and you can still have the sink .... with white tiles and white bench as per the picture to make the foil really pop? After spending so much on your sink you want it to really stand out ... Re: Stuck on a bathroom colour/theme, opinions and ideas ple 3Feb 28, 2012 9:34 am I personally think that exact bathroom set up with cabnet, sink, tiles etc would be perfect in there. Keep the white and it will make the area look larger but then the foil colour will give it pizaz. Love the sink and tiles. even agree with Mclaren and take the feature tiles to the shower so the whole room links. If it the full hieght and width, it wont look outta place with no feature tiles the. Plus it will make the area look larger. Does it look cramped? we were also thinking of doing another feature strip in the shower in the matching foil tile so it reflects in the vanity mirror Just dont want to spend all this money for it to look cramped and executed wrong If we stuck to the white stone top (looking at Caesar stone Organic White) White cupboards and an off white tile with very slight green undertones im hoping it would work Re: Stuck on a bathroom colour/theme, opinions and ideas ple 7Feb 28, 2012 1:37 pm I don't think it looks cramped ... looks in proportion to me and you will so love it!
