Browse Forums Outdoor Living 1 Mar 30, 2009 3:14 pm Just bought a new house and it has quite a large outdoor decked area partially under the alfresco and the rest around some of the house. The area under the roof is looking quite nice but the area exposed to the elements is looking a little dry and almost greyish in colour. I dont think its been painted but other than that i'm not sure of how its been maintained in the past. Just wondering what people would reccommend to lift its appearance in the exposed areas? Is it as simple as painting on a few coats of decking oil??? Any advice would be great!! One of the better ones is Intergrain Reviva, there is also Cabots and Feast Watson packaged ones but they aren't as strong Hi, as per the subject. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best value decking oil (Bunning is close to where I live) for a treated pine deck? Thanks 0 10970 Use a product like Equisol's Vitalise to clean the deck then coat with a penetrating timber oil. It will look 10 years younger and add value to your home.
