Hehe! I'll tell 'em!
We noticed today that they hadn't put a powerpoint in the microwave recess...I was panicking all the way home cos it meant having to get SPH to take out the cabinets, cutting it into the wall and re-plastering, etc. Got home and checked the photos from when everything was chased into the brick. The MW recess powerpoint is there, but the plasterers have apparently plastered over it. Dave assures me it's okay, the sparkies will look at the plans and realise it's meant to be there, so they'll prod the wall until they find it and break through. *phew*

Lucky you have been taking such good photos to have one to check on!
I (finally) upgraded to an iPhone 4S this week just in time for build to start so i can take a decent photo and not have to carry around a digital camera with me (which has no memory card and no batteries & is currently lost somewhere in all my cr4p! - FAIL!)

No delays at all, apparently - our tiler is ready to go and the meeting has been set for this Wed morning!
And I have one more query. Who actually bricks in the bath & shower hobs? Does the tiler do it or does someone else? I can't seem to find this out, even after extensive googling!

so freaking fast! l
i have no idea about the hobs! i would have though they would brick the bath hob and then insert the bath so it has support! but apparently not!
what goes on top for the gap between bath and edge of hob?
arg... the more i think the more questions i have!!!!!

Hahaha, did you see the pic of our bath? Apparently all that's involved is make a pool of wet cement, plop the bath into it and use a pipe to hold it upright until it sets
And agreed. The more I wonder about something, the more I need to ask

They used some of our bricks from the back wall! We moved all the spare ones over the weekend as we're going to use them for a low retaining wall across the back...When I was there today, I looked at the missing red bricks (right hand side) and thought 'Hmm? Brick thief?' Then looked in the bathroom window...

going pretty quick for u. Water proofing in your shower - does it not need to be right up to end where brick hob is? Just check that to avoid water going through tiles in future.
