Hey all,

I am completely clueless on what to choose for my pendant lights above the kitchen island.. The more I look, the more I get confused.. There's just too many to choose from.. Help!!!

Just to give you an idea, below is my glass splashback..
http://www.resene.co.nz/swatches/preview.php?chart=Resene%20Multi-finish%20range%20(2008)&brand=Resene&name=Kitsch

Below is my benchtop
http://www.caesarstone.com.au/Colours/Colour-Detail.aspx?Collection=6600-Nougat%E2%84%A2

It's an open living so i have the kitchen, dining and family room all together and my walls are white..
http://www.taubmans.com.au/public/colour/explore-your-options.aspx?wallColour=China%20Doll

My floor is dark timber almost black.. all my furniture in that area is literally black and white!! The panel curtain directly in front of the kitchen island is wheat colour. Apart from that the only other colour is the splashback.

So i originally thought i would go for a yellow pendant light like below..
http://www.mattblatt.com.au/Pendants/Cordoba-Pendant-Light.aspx?p2938c2
but i'm not completely sold on the above. Then comes finding other yellow ones which there are not a lot of..

I don't want to stick with a white pendant because i want to introduce colour in the room. And it's not a big room either so i'm trying to stick to cool colours.

My other option was getting exactly the same pendant in three different colours that will compliment my splashback. Again that's proving to be tough as not alot of pendants come in a variety of colours

What do you guys think??? ::wornout::

I know you said you wanted cool colours, but red always looks amazing with teal like your splashback.

Or what about black with the coloured inside?

Also found these orange glass ones...

Good luck!

I like how a bare bulb is so simple and yet it still makes a statement. You could add colour to it by choosing a coloured cord?

Or go with a theme seeing you are looking for something to suit your kitchen

Just found some new ones when looking for a client:

These options would be available from Ideal Electrical.
