We have found Cafe cream looks good with it too.......so we need to decide if the "grey" tone is what we want,or stick with the "cream" tone. We are going to look at a few display homes to see what tones we really like and go from there. I keep changing my mind, it is really frustrating (plus I'm driving my DH mad), so maybe I might settle on a colour scheme if I see it in a display home. Agree re the splashback, brilliant white will probably be too white. I really love the Organic white caesarstone though, so if we really can't decide we can always go with "white" but I will have to convince DH. We built the Wisdom Majestic 40 - moved in! We originally were going to use organic white but it was too cool with the white we used for our cupboards. We then chose ice snow. A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands. We chose this colour when we picked the old kitchen colours. We have not had to sign off on our colours yet with the building coy so I guess we could change this if we pick a kitchen colour that doesn't go with it. We visited the display homes today which I found most productive and I find it easier to make a decision when I have actually seen the kitchen display rather then imagine from a colour sample. However we found two kitchens we really liked, so now we are torn between the two. The first one is in Moss Grey, the colour we are considering. We will probably change the 4 upper cupboards to white like the display home and have either Osprey or Organic white as the Caesarstone. The second one is quite different but we like that one too. For the second one we would need to liase with the kitchen coy to get costs and an idea of what materials are to be used, which I guess would be either Laminex Diamondgloss or just laminex. We would need to pick a caesarstone to go with it too, but we like the contrast of dark and light. We currently have a timber kitchen so that is why we went for the polyurethane this time so we would have something different. But the 2nd one is timber veneer so will be a lot easier to keep clean compared to what we have now (which is looking tired now after 15 years). So we are now considering both and probably need to think about the colour theme of the rest of the downstairs area with our existing furniture. More to think about now... I personally prefer a lighter kitchen. I don't mind a little dark but not too much. In my kitchen we have a dark wood grain on the back of the island and the oven tower. The rest is white. DH wanted a black bench and I wanted white. We compromised and had black at the back and white on the island. There was no way I would work on a black bench, so I told him if he wanted all black he could do all the cooking. That fixed him. You are starting to come together now with your ideas. It takes a while but you will get there. And don't stress. A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands.
