We finally have roof tiles for the double storey part of the house
Roof tiles were delivered on the 19th December (yesterday) and today we have them installed - Burbank are pretty fast on site. Pretty happy with the roof tile selection looks great.
I also noticed the Solar Panels for the hot water unit has been installed as well.
Flat roof for the Alfresco and some part of the house will be installed after the holidays.
Few issues I noticed: We have a broken Window down stairs - wonder how that happened. Leaking tap next to the hot water unit - when the scaffold went up must have had a minor accident. Out of bricks to complete top floor

Good to see that the roof was put before the Christmas break.
With tiles and bricks I found it hard to imagine how they will look when on the house during colour selection but I reckon it must be satisfying to see they look great when they are now on the house.

congrts on getting your house underway, we are building the fairfax ( if we ever get there) having issues with siting due to non responsive neighbours....lol very strange situation noone ever there and no response to any contact attempts ...we are thinking its a drug house lol snooping around and only mail going uncollected for weeks and garbage bins going in and out ....very strange other neighbours never see anyone there either.....spooky. we only want to move our house 400mm closer to footpath but this is holding everything up grrrrr anyway back the main issue of building we are in pakenham and after going through many weekends of travelling far and wide to view displays we walked through the new one in cranbourne and loved the house we were settled on the ascent before hand but felt this one left it for dead lol colours selection went well a couple of months ago and although we spent a "little" more it will be worth it good luck with your building will be interested to keep an eye on your progress and hopefully see some on our block......

thanks doublej2500tis all a little odd ......we went with the 2700 pretty much we got the kitchen island bench as displayed, study fitout, upgraded tiles to 450x450 and carpet to cat 4 as we could not come to grips with the lower grades with it we got cat 2 underlay , extra lighting here and there, bits and bobs and other bits, crazy how they charge for higher cat in things cause they are "popular"....lol had to go with colour boards to keep the costs from blowing out but we did pretty well overall for our first build colour selection. cheers gremlin

I think you did well with the Upgrades - Carpet and tiles are things that you use & feel every day.
I wish I had upgraded my underlay - hoping the Cat 1 will not be so bad. Saying that we have 2 young kids, hoping to upgrade after they grow up a bit..
I still do not have a Liaison assigned to my file. My SS has been very good keeping me posted on the progress. Next couple of weeks progress will be slow due to extended holidays taken by some of the Tradies.
