I am building a double storey house and the builders have almost finished the brickwork.

How long does it take from this point to put the roof on?

Does anyone have a a time scale of how long to the roof come on?

Thank you
Ritk

As in the frame or tiles?

Either way it was done before bricking even started for us

ours was done before brickwork.strange way to do it though as they hung scaffold up around the gutter line for the roofer then took that down and put proper scaffold up for the bricky.

Our roof went on first as well. Apparently this is called a reverse build. They did it because the bricky wasn't available. I'd say your roof will go on as soon as the tradie is available.

What state are you in??

In Victoria it's usually frame then roof then bricks, but I think it's done differently in the west?

our brickwork for the 2nd fl;oor is done, they will now get the timber and the roof tiles in.

Its different in Victory they do the frame work and then the bricks but in Perth they do all the brickwork and then they get ready for the roof.

How long did your whole house building take from slab down to handover?

thanks Rita
