I know a few companies here in SA use one contracting firm to do all the Lead ins: Power, Telephone and Water. as Power and telephone need to end up at the same general location on the side of the house for earthing reasons a conduit under the drive way is do able and shouln't need to dig up the drive way if they have enough brains/ skills. My driveway is very wide - maybe 6 metres or more, so I'm concerned they will have trouble with the distance. Just wondering what the name of the process/machine they use to put a conduit under the driveway? I just want to make sure I've done all my homework before they come back to me with a list of options. Re: telephone cable connection problems 19Apr 26, 2011 12:33 pm hi tazr I've seen it done that way ( using a borer of some kind to go under driveways) dont know what they are called though sorry mate, but definately no conduit joining pits?? john 3 48542 Hi all I'm currently building a duplex in Sydney and we need to do a new water connection to the second unit. The water main is on the other side of the road so we need… 0 4282 I am not a brick expert, but rendering would be 1 option, it would be costly to do the entire house though.... 2 6686 |
