Hi all

Has anyone ever heard of this firm or used them. Have given us a relay good quote for a build but they are not on the Product Review web site. We are first time builders who have only been in Oz eight months, dont want to make the mistake from hell...

Any info appreciated

Cheers

Hi,

We are looking at these builders at the moment, did you end up building with them?

What were they like?

Thanks Joel.

Hi,

jdq69 & Bhrolachain - Just wondering if you ended up going with this builder and how you found them?

Rolev - how did things end up for you? How far off complete are you? are you happy so far?

We have a fairly competitive quote from them to build our house, so far they have been good, however we are finding them to be quite slow! We paid them to prepare plans in Oct and only now are we starting to get final floor plans. im hoping it is just the initial stuff that takes the time and they get the ball rolling quickly with the build.

hi, we did our own plans ourselves and it took 4 months for it to be completed as it does take time,
We are at the stage were the brick work is being done down stairs, we are 1 month behind thoug it"s cause of all the rain we have had, the traders cannot assess the block as is slopping down, but now with the warm weather everything is on it way
So dont worry i'm still happy 8)

Has there been any progress on your building? We are looking at building with sloping block but they have been very slow, heard mixed reports about their work? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hi BB_2011, it sounds like we have had a similar experience, ours started start of October, has there been any more progress?

Hi there,

Did you get them to do your plans or did you get them drawn up elsewhere? (If so, by who and what was the cost?)

Thanks!!

Bumping this thread ::lol::

We are looking at this company to build our house. So far we have received a very good "ball park" figure from them for our custom build, and we are impressed with some of their standard inclusions.

Anyone out there who have built with this company? I'd like to hear some feedback on them :)

We are going through a cost estimate with them at the moment, and have had a walk through of one house they've completed. Whilst the house wasn't to our taste it had a similar fall to our block. The price they've given us is by far the best we've had but we just want to make sure that the build quality & finish is not compromised. Would be interested to hear people's experiences.

Daicos...how is your house going?

The company that you need to be searching for reviews for is 'Infantino COnstructions' they are the actual builders for Sloping Block Builders. There are some really unhappy people leaving reviews for them online.

We are building with them at the moment, they are slow and lack communication, but i cant comment on their workmanship at this stage though - because they have hardly done any work!!!!

We are now at half stage with them. They are an absolute experience. Send me a pm if you need more details. We are going legal with them.

This message is for all Sloping Block and Infantino customers.
Do you think we need to discuss our concerns so we have a unified approach with them as it appears they give similar grief to all.

Almost 12 months from contract to brick stage, no roof, frame and floor in weather for over 4 months, crooked and chipped bricks. Windows and doors left laying in mud for months. Site looks like a rubbish dump. Nothing but hassles and spent over 350K just on house.
