Re: CARPET - Smartstrand IQ150 Textures & Level Cut Loops 15Sep 17, 2010 7:39 pm craftie Hi Anthony, I am looking at smartstrand for my house (kids bedrooms and the stairs) and am looking everywhere for details about the different ranges. We are trying to decide between the "smart color" and "brilliant designs" and the normal iq 150 range. We were at HN this morning but they just gave us vague answers. Can you tell me what the pile height and density is of those and the main iq range? I probably have my terms all wrong, sorry! Just wondering if the smart colour felt better then the iq because it was newer - as the price difference is so small. Hi. Where abouts are you located ? The specs have to obtained by the franchisee from the manufacturer. The franchisee of the store can get that info easily for you, via a request to Mohawk. I have got the info for many customers of mine. You are after the "weight" of the carpet. It's measured in ounces. Generally the more the better!! Re: CARPET - Smartstrand IQ150 Textures & Level Cut Loops 16Sep 17, 2010 8:06 pm weight - that is good to know We went to the Preston store. How long does it take to get the info? We are on a tight timeline to get it ordered and in by Christmas (fingers crossed, we are taking a punt!) Re: CARPET - Smartstrand IQ150 Textures & Level Cut Loops 17Sep 17, 2010 9:51 pm No worries. It is pretty quick. Ask for Maurice. He is the franchisee. Any dramas, give me a call at Chadstone and I'll sort you out no probs. They have not published all the data to us. It's available, but only every 200th customer would ask weights, and even when you find out the weight, it doesn't mean much to a non-industry person, so over time, all manufacturers have ceased talking ounces and talk about warranties and other features and benefits instead. As I say, any dramas, just call me at Chadstone. Although Maurice is a great bloke and I'm sure he can sort it all out for you ASAP. they can, it's a fairly standard solution when the slab isn't recessed. the falls need to be in the main floor, if it hasn't been done then you need to ask them to redo… 4 6585 PM me your email. I have a build excavation calculator you can use based on your plans to double check what your builder is telling you.
