What colour goes best with black leather beds? And what colours should I stay away from?

agree with white! lovely, but a bit scary if you have kids.

I dont have kids but i always manage to split tea or coffee on it, maybe i need to stop having them in bed

I have two different choices to put to you.
First is more conservative and that would be Taupe and White. White sheets with a fine taupe striped edge on the flatsheet and pillowcaese and then a decadant throw in a mink velvet or a taupe mohair.
The second idea is White and Dark Blue. White sheets with a navy accent and then a deep blue eiderdown folded on the end. Then play up the pillows with some pattern cushions in a stripe or a sensuous fabric that adds the luxury touch

hiccup - I LOVE THAT ONE.
That looks exactly like what I have on my bed at the moment actually Ours is that latte coloured 'waffle' doona cover with crisp white 1200TC flat sheet adn pillow cases I had also mixed in a couple of european pillowcases in chocolate to accent. the cushion I have used as a highligh is an oblong shaped one with a mixture of neutral colours adn white in a marbling pattern. My bedhead is a VERY DARK choc colour... almost black. And this scheme always looks awesome. cant go wrong
