Not sure about the new units, but the one in the place where i am currently living (it was installed about 10 or so years ago), the controller runs off batteries, and doesn't seem to have any cabling connecting it to the main unit outside or in the roof - i don't remember them pulling the wall apart to get any cables in there either (it's on an internal wall) Re: Installing ducted air conditioning after handover? 13Mar 27, 2017 10:30 pm Hi All, I'm contemplating on whether to include Ducted AC in my package with Eden Brae Homes or not. They have quoted $11,614 for 12.4KW, 2 Zones. Just wanted to check how did your ducted AC installation go after handover. I'm aware that this is an old thread but hoping to get some advice on which way to go. Also, is it a good idea to do downlights after handover as well? Please share your thoughts everyone.
