Australia's greatest home building and renovation community providing you with access to the popular building forum, planning and budgeting tools, and the premium building directory.
I thought it would be much easier to gather all the info and questions of Carlisle clients and the like, into one thread.
Talk all about Carlisle here, hope we can just keep one thread for Carlisle Homes & SPECTRA. Find all the latest news here!! Talk about your experience at SPECTRA here! Share your colour selections and choices, at SPECTRA, here!
To promote the thread, if you could, put this thread link into your signature!
I will also be compiling a list of Carlislers on Homeone. Just put in a reply and Ill add you to the list! As you know, not all Homeone Carlislers have blogs and/or threads, so much better to put everyone here for peoples reference to own build. Already have some of you on the list!! The Carlisle family is growing so fast!!!
CARLISLER LIST (in Homeone member username):

Hi Salt&PepperMkII,
Can you please add me to the list? We are building the Madison 30, we have been very happy with the service and quality of the build so far...they have just finished the tiling, so not long to go now!

The Oxford is a great house design. Isnt the Oxford on display at Brookfield though?? Probably better if you go to the display, so you get a good feel of the place.

Added to the list. Great to hear about your Madison30, theres another member here building this. Really good floorplan, reminds me of the Pagoda!! Can I ask who your CS and CLE are? Good luck for the rest of your build.

Hi Guys, great idea S&P!
Well we have been looking at builders for at least 6 months now but are pretty set on building the Pagoda 31 it is the only design my "fiance" and i can agree on. I have to get used to saying that because we got engaged in July not that i had any idea and now we have had to put off our plans to build for 12 months - not overally happy about that and i hope we have made the right decision to get married first and that base prices don't go up too much. Anyway our land was supposed to settle today and we got a letter from the agent last week saying to use the "new year as a guide"! so probably a good thing we haven't signed just yet because i don't know how long it will take for the land to be ready.
Anyway i will checking on this thread as Carlisle seem like a great builder with a lot of positive feedback!
Hi S&P.. Brookfield display? their website does not say that the Oxford is on display... hmm.. can you point me in the right direction? thanks S&P
Well the Oxford, Lincoln and Bradford were in a range called 'Smart Start Range' for one or two months, then reinstated to T Range as they are now in. Thats why these houses dont have many photos on the website, and I also think some of the stuff in the displays is lower quality than what you will actually get..ie. Smart Start was lower quality than T Range, some items may be different due to the changeover. Heres the link to the displayhomes.. this is where the Oxford is on display.

Thanks Bel&Ben. Congrats on your engagement!! The Pagoda is a fantastic design, if I didnt build the Atlantique and if my cousin didnt already build the Pagoda, I would have built it.. Which Pagoda have you been to - Pt Cook and/or Cranbourne?

Thanks S&P. We have been looking at the Point Cook display. We originally really liked the Madison except for the pantry we thought was tiny and we asked if they could change it somehow to make it bigger and they said no So because we really liked that design with the master not at the front the Pagoda was the next best thing!

Ive only been to the Cranbourne one. Is the Point Cook one Asian-inspired like the Cranbourne version??
It might be worth a visit to Cranbourne Pagoda..its really nice.
The Monaco and Pagoda are pretty similar to the Madison..curved entryway, masterbedroom in centre, bedrooms at front, etc.. I agree, the Madison pantry is tiny!!
Good to see you went for Affinity Collection.. much better value/inclusions!!

[No i don't recall the Pagoda at Point Cook being asian inspired but i was really only looking at the floor plan and i loved how it flowed and i really like how it had the curved entry i like that people can't see straight through the house from the front door. I totally agree that the affinity range is great value the spa bath tops it off! After planning a wedding and then building it will be getting a lot of use by me

just got back from carlisle homes at point cook.. put in the $1K deposit for the house and another $1K for the land. went with the oxford22.. my only gripe is that they wouldn't want to change the plan so that all bedrooms are on the east side instead of the west. they can't flip the design since it's a corner lot..
their inclusions seems to be good and with bonus smart wiring included and site costs

we had this issue also as we originally picked a corner lot too.... but we decided to go for the change of block and stay with the riverton 27, we loved the house design too much!!
By thw way great idea S&P to do an official thread instead of everyone all over the place!!
