It's on, we are building....so i thought that i'd start up a thread as a sort of Show and Tell.
4 months of planning and decision making and we have today recieved our building approval!!!

Stages so far:
We had developer's approval 2 weeks ago
our tap installed late last week,
now permit approval recieved.

We have been advised that our materials have been ordered and our file has been sent to the Construction department for planning....

Hopefully a week or two and we'll be on site
The whole family is very happy and extremely excited.

Thanks guys. I haven't uploaded a plan as yet, i was waiting for the construction plans as changes have been made since the last lot. I'm sure that i'll be told if i have to take them off the blog or the thread if i have to.
I'll load them up soon.

As for progress photos - put it this way. I took pics of the water meter from 5 different angles (north, south, east, west and from above)
So don't worry - there will be PLENTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry in advance.

i'm impressed, 2 weeks from approval to site, h3nley must be a hell of a lot more organised in VIC than they are in QLD....

we've had approval for a bit over 2 weeks but still no idea when we'll be on site, it'll be interesting to compare our progress

WE HAVE A SITE START DATE!!!!!!




Friday the 7th of December is our official site start date... I think i'm going to take a packed lunch and a folding chair and just revel in any movement that happens to occur on the day.

Our CSR has been great, calling every couple of days to keep in touch. But no construction drawings yet, waiting for another call tomorrow and i'll drive down and pick them up....(Can't tell that i'm impatient ha????)
Better not be anything wrong with them....
