Re: Bad odour from stone bench top 14Feb 07, 2023 7:07 pm TomCat My husband and I were sniffing around like crazy people trying to find the bad odour in our (new) kitchen. We were shocked when we found it was the Ceasarstone bench top. I disinfect and nuke my dish/cleaning cloths (Chux) in the microwave and use mild soapy water to clean the bench. I don't understand why this smell is coming from the stone. It's a sour putrid smell. Very scary. Has anyone else found this? What/why is it and how can I eradicate it please? We have the same problem with our ceasarstone bench tops, their fine as long as we don’t have fresh air coming in, but as soon as you open windows and doors they pick up this awful smell. I have tried everything I can think of to clean them with and the only dolour ion is to not open windows and doors super frustrating 😤 Re: Bad odour from stone bench top 15Feb 07, 2023 7:10 pm Tia TomCat My husband and I were sniffing around like crazy people trying to find the bad odour in our (new) kitchen.
