Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Aug 11, 2022 4:49 pm Hi, I'm trying to decide if I should install an irrigation system or not as part of our new home build (currently at pre framing stage)
Is it more a question of whether I want one for convenience? Or is it based on the soil type, location, and proposed gardens? We are in the Tweed Shire and are in a coastal subdivision with very sandy soil. I have minimal gardening experience but am thinking I'll have some lawn area (approx 120 m2), some small gardens with hardy/low maintenance plants/shrubs, and a small veggie garden. Edit: I would be installing any system myself. Re: To irrigate or not to irrigate? 2Aug 11, 2022 4:57 pm you can do this post hand over. I wouldnt pay a builder for it, it will cost you twice as much Dark matter scientist, can breathe underwater, mind reader and can freeze matter just by willing it. Trust me, its in my sig. Re: To irrigate or not to irrigate? 3Aug 11, 2022 5:00 pm I would be installing myself. The builder is a relative. I work with owner, he/she is my man on the ground and I instruct them when to visit the site and take photos and I have other tools in the bag. 4 16383 1000000% definitely add insulation. I have in my home and it makes a big difference minimising sound transfer. Insulation is pretty cheap and definitely worth it 2 6818 I am in the same situation, would you be able to give some insights in to this? I am in SA 8 18023 |
