The block (untitled) it's south fronting that is meant to be settled on in July. I'm not sure if I'm better off just losing my deposit on the unsettled land but am not away of the potential damages from doing so. Well you may want to have a look at what the cost of blocks are going for in the area now. The land we purchased last year now is at a 35-40% premium fort the same size. You may be better off continuing with the purchase and actually building an investment. Either to sell on completion or to hold.
