Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 01, 2022 2:02 pm Hi folks, Does anyone know if outdoor garden taps plumbing need to be copper or pex. If it's going underground in a trench would copper be more suitable? Also for a new build where we have 1 back outdoor tap, if builder was charging us close to $580 for an additional garden tap and connection using pex, am I just better off getting my own plumber to install after hand over? Anyone know what plumbers charge these days to add new line and tap ( I would do the trench work for him) Distance roughly between the 2 tap locations is around 14mt or so. Thanks DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair We have a hot water copper pipe that runs from our hot water unit on one side of our house under a concrete slab to our bathroom and laundry...old house so not ideal. The… 0 5900 that will depend on the kitchen bench depth. you'll have to specify it so it allows for both the tap and the sink 1 7710 7 5340 |
