Browse Forums Buying Land 1 Aug 30, 2021 9:45 pm Hi all, We are looking at a plot which has quite a drastic slope. Its ~13m over ~40m in length from front to back, down from the road for an 18 degree negative slope. Currently there is no house built on it, but there are on either side. There is undergrowth and ~5 trees present. The block is $370k for ~1000m2 and in a good location, but how hard is it to manage a slope like that? Anyone have some experience with the additional costs of building on a steep slope? Re: Implications of Sloped land 2Sep 06, 2021 10:40 pm Hi, You can look at alternate designs (pole home, split level etc). It does add cost to a build, but usually there is a reason why you want the block.. mine was better view, better location etc. Costs are massively dependant on your house and landscape design. Any recommendations for builders for a KDRB in North Warrandyte ? Thanks 0 3616 Yeah I don't know why I came to a forum. Place is full of wierdos/pedos thought internet may help but I suppose I'll try my luck with someone in person. Cheers. I tried… 0 6879 Need advice on the backyard plan above. Should I excavate and cut all of the dirt to level with the house slab or semi-excavate as per photo above? Both left and right… 0 25587 |
