Mathy The site costs depend on a range of factors (soil, fall, fill, rock, piers, etc). In Eliston if you purchased near Patterson road it's not too bad but if your block is where the old dam was than the costs are above $20k due to the fill. Check your engineering plan this will tell you if you have any controlled fill on your block. Not sure if this helps Mathyvarnan but our block is 500m, M class soil, Waffle slab and approx 1m fall over the building envelope. We're building a double story and our site cost was $12k including council regulations. I know of someone building where the old dam was and their block was 448m, single storey, no fall and their site cost was $35k.
