You actually started a few months after us and are very close to us! Great job, sounds like your SM has been awesome! Ours tells us off if we are on site as we pick up issues and he doesn't like us seeing errors! Looking forward to seeing more as you load them Oh and that view, OMG, it is to die for!!!!!!! Thanks Kylz. Wish I had found this site earlier as there are lots of tips and tricks to be found from other people's experiences. Our carpet is going in today so it's getting there, thanks for reading. It sure is!! Yay for carpet, makes it feel more finished when you see that Re: Our Metricon Duxton 39- Coastal Facade 55Mar 15, 2017 3:09 pm End of 2016 We were really happy that the house had taken on a new form in the last month once M declared that there was a backlog in jobs on other sites due to the weather. These had all reached completion just before Xmas and now we had more run at it. We knew that the Xmas period would be frustrating looking at an idle house. Our painter was going to work through Xmas, but there were still jobs waiting to be finished before they could start. Garage steps and level still proves to be a bit of a headache. Square setting of the garage walls looks good though. Re: Our Metricon Duxton 39- Coastal Facade 56Mar 15, 2017 3:44 pm 28th February 2017 Painting complete inside the house as well as stone benchtops. We chose white all over, ceiling and walls, to keep a crisp look, which still allows an easy paint over if other colours in certain rooms are preferred down the track. I'm a keen painter and will most likely get bored and change the colour of different rooms. Study. Kitchen tiles not right so will be replaced on one side when tilers return to complete balcony. Kitchen bench is a great size! Again, basic white tiles chosen for all walls. I like how simple they are, not a huge fan of tiles, expecially on the floor. Like this part, I get to play with the lights. Again, always funny how you forget what you ordered! Left out the lights in the kitchen and dining room so we can choose what we want later (besides, nothing caught our eye at the time of decision making at Beacon).
