They now have to do an valuation before my home loan can proceed. The bank is unhappy with the tender. Tender states "property not yet specified". This is not good enough for the valuer to actually value the property before lending me a home loan. Beechwood want money before any changes are done. I'm confused as to what to do next. Ha! Hi Alan30 I think what you need to do is shop around first for the builder that will suit your need in what you're looking for in a home. this will give you an idea on much you need taking into account if you have money as deposit. Get a broker to assess your paperworks and to give you an idea of which lender can answer your criteria (if you have some like redraw facilities or offset accounts or credit card matter etc) Then that's when you ask for a tender and if your budget allows you then you go ahead and make a deposit....it's a long process but it's all worth it buildingourhumblehome.blogspot.com.au Re: Who is building with Beechwood 14455Feb 23, 2017 8:20 pm Buildingabetterhome.blogspot.com.au Land deposit - Oct 14 Deposit - Jan 16 Land registered - June 16 Settlement - July 16 Colour selection and approval -Sept 16 Slab- Nov 16 Frame - Dec 16 Re: Who is building with Beechwood 14456Feb 23, 2017 8:21 pm Alan30 Ive got pre approval from bank.
