Has anyone who has rendered the front of your house left it as MDF above windows? and if yes does it sit flush once rendered or can you see where mdf is? Also is it 1000mm that you should allow to fit all fridges? Thanks everyone It will specify in your plans whether it is flush or recessed. Check all elevations as it was only noted on one single elevation that the whole lot was recessed. I spoke to my SS during construction as the only reason we deleted brick infills was because we thought it would be a waste if we were rendering the whole house anyway. Front facade though I would imagine would be brick infills as standard, wouldn't it? Unfortunately even though our Blueboard was flushed out with the bricks, you can still see lines in the render where it joins. It isn't seamless. This annoys me because I believe the sc should have corrected us and we would t have deleted the infills C U S T O M. C O R A L. It is flush though and you cant notice it.. Re: Coral Homes general build thread 7495Feb 19, 2017 11:46 am Ryalls_first_build shortnstumpy How big did everyone go for pendant lights over the island bench? We have to choose some this weekend and I'm no good at this stuff. Is 250mm too small? We have the dropped ceiling in our kitchen, i was worried it may feel too enclosed with pendants so went for something completely different. I love them but have had mixed reviews lol Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ They look nice with our feature pendant too Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Do you have any idea how much roughly the dropped ceiling is? Or was it in your inclusions? I am worried we don't have it included and feel like the kitchen wont look right without it, but my fiance doesnt want it Re: Coral Homes general build thread 7497Feb 19, 2017 4:22 pm Ryalls_first_build shortnstumpy How big did everyone go for pendant lights over the island bench? Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14676 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4702 |
