Busy stockpiling everything in the back bedroom since our storage unit is already full think I may have found the perfect coffee table so going to look/buy tomorrow, quickly running out of room! Can't recommend them enough, beautiful quality furniture and the lady there was lovely. They were happy to layby until the house was ready mid-year so we didn't have to find somewhere to store it until then. Also had a slight disaster when I went up to pick up an ottoman I bought from the Ben Trager display home up in Alkimos, Mr Doe said it would fit in my boot.... ahhhhh not quite ? Loving the colour of the cladding, gutters and fascia against the colour of the window frames and roof Feeling really impatient for them to finish what needs to be done externally on the first floor and remove the scaffolding so the ground floor roof can go on! Looks great Re: Express Two Storey (Ventura Group) build in Hocking, WA 59May 15, 2017 12:21 am Grey float was completed over the weekend but we've had a pile of issues on-site: - Stolen copper pipes to gas service (the thieves kindly removed the pipes and left the gas running and the plasterers realised when they arrived in the morning and could smell gas, lucky none of them were smokers or could have been disastrous) - Stolen water meter - Theft of electrical cable from our kitchen, one wall box for GPO pulled out and another damaged - Plasterers have rendered over the damaged wall box (possibly because there was no cabling left to that one at all so they didn't realise?) - Electrician had left draw cables to the theatre conduit wrapped around the top of the conduit where they'll be inaccessible after the ceilings go in this week, Mr Doe is a bit frustrated by the lack of forethought from them given he's a qualified electrician himself - Rectification of the pre-lay in our kitchen still isn't right, the slab is now out of level where they've repoured the channelled section and we're not overly happy with this aspect given they've fixed it two or three times already Customer service is still excellent though, we've raised everything with them and waiting for the supervisor to look into everything so fingers crossed it's all sorted out quickly.
