Being parents it's finding the time to just scratch my butt lol. Might get around to it eventually. In the meantime it's just nice to browse other people's home, get an idea here or two. Haha yeah, I was planning to keep it in my office like I do at the moment (I work from home). However my girlfriend wasn't too keen on this as I'm having it carpeted and the current house my office is tiled. It was this discussion we were having where the sales rep offered up his perfect solution Our build thread with Smart Homes for Living in Wellard https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=86092 Re: First timers - Smart Homes for Living in Wellard 14Jan 08, 2017 7:52 pm Love the two tone timber look laminate and white laminate you've chosen for the kitchen SilentBoB Follow our build with Express Two Storey (Ventura Group): viewtopic.php?f=31&t=85122 Re: First timers - Smart Homes for Living in Wellard 15Jan 09, 2017 12:35 pm Thanks mrsdoe Just twiddling our thumbs now waiting for our pre-start meeting but it's still 2.5 weeks away. Was a shame as they originally had us penciled in before Xmas but we had to get a couple of things amended on the contracts and then the bank held things up a bit so it pushed everything back a month. Tried to get the pre-start meeting earlier but they were fully booked until 25 January Our build thread with Smart Homes for Living in Wellard https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=86092 Re: First timers - Smart Homes for Living in Wellard 16Jan 10, 2017 12:52 pm Got offered an earlier pre-start meeting after they had some cancellations but unfortunately can't get the new dates offered off work now Just treating it as a bit of a bonus now though. Taking the 25th off means I get a mid-week weekend as it's a public holiday the next day Our build thread with Smart Homes for Living in Wellard https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=86092 Re: First timers - Smart Homes for Living in Wellard 17Jan 10, 2017 5:13 pm Oh bummer you've got to wait so long for pre-start but yay for a mid-week break from work! Our land is due to settle on the same day as our pre-start meeting on the 25th so the bank will also be taking our deposit that day. Then it will be water and 2 minute noodles until the build is completed Our build thread with Smart Homes for Living in Wellard https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=86092 Re: First timers - Smart Homes for Living in Wellard 20Jan 17, 2017 2:22 pm Coming along nicely SB. I can relate to the 'meals' situations lol We already paid for somfy motors for the blinds. The quote above was purely for “pre-wiring” so the blinds company can install the motors and blinds. That’s why we… 5 18361 Shelly switches require a paid subscription for full access to all features which is ridiulous given the lifespan of a home and if you were to sell it or buy a home with… 2 5194 So it seems like they just take on a lot of projects to get the cashflow for their own builds.
