Hi mansawant, no, they are both from sofas2go in springvale. I brought the enterprise from focus on furniture though. Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait! Love telsa...quite comfy to sit on and chic looking but the neck support not as good as the other one. Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait! Still working away, hubby's gonna check it out tomorrow as we have the blinds people doing a measure... Our re-inspection has been booked for next Tuesday so we'll see how long after that since we picked up a lot of long scratches on our kitchen and butlers windows after PCI last year.... they came back and replace our slider upstairs, seems the wrong ones were order to start off with... happy about that since the old one screeched so bad (like glass rubbing on something or like nails on the blackboard...) every time you tried opening it... Unhappy about my timbers.... the color to be stained was meant to be charcoal but for some reason it looks totally brown to me... SS said he spoke to his painters and the right color was used... GRR! Hopefully everything has been fixed. Not long now before you move in and enjoy that beautiful home all the best for next week Re: Canterbury - Final Stages 370Jan 19, 2017 5:58 am Happy New Year Pearz. You definitely are not having a good run with Carlisle. Your last build with Henley seems like a breeze compared to the issues you are having. Hope all is perfect next week when you do your inspection. Re: Canterbury - Final Stages 371Jan 19, 2017 7:41 am jillybug Happy New Year Pearz. You definitely are not having a good run with Carlisle. I know, sometimes I wonder why we didn't just stick with Henley but then I remembered their floorplans didn't work for us this time round (or ones that were within our budget LOL). I did really like the capestone and Q1 would have worked but base was too pricey. Q2 was within budget but felt too compromised compared with Q1 and I do love Canterbury design... hence here we are. I blame tradies for not caring about their work and SS for not being on top of them from the start! Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait! They want 322900 for the Colorado 37!!!! We are going to be building the Sahara Lux Q1 which is 40.5 squares and 304k and with the flooring promotion ends up being far better value than Carlisle! One of the other reason we didn't like Carlisle was the down stairs felt extremely cramped, the Henley was far more open and felt more grand, so hence why we are going with Henley again. TBH I am shocked at how much they have jacked up their prices! I remember that the Colorado was 294k and that was before the end of last year!!! So they jacked it up by around 20k which too me seems like a little too much of a price rise Re: Canterbury - Final Stages 373Jan 19, 2017 8:32 am stayxtrue We contemplated Carlisle but they jacked their prices up big time! When I walked into the display it blew me away. I also love the Henley homes though. All the best to both of you. Yea i know, I just dont know how they could increase them by as much as they did! They do have a great "promotion" On but you are pretty much paying for it with the price rise lol Re: Canterbury - Final Stages 376Jan 19, 2017 12:12 pm This is very surprising. main selling point for Carlise was their strictly number of build each month. The way they explained us that this was a major factor behind their excellent build quality. Personally, i wont be happy with such workmanship when they are charging higher than other builders. We did not go with Carlise as they refused to budge on price, and it was all based on above quality claim. Otherwise they had quite a few balcony facades for no extra cost which was a big plus for me Re: Canterbury - Final Stages 377Jan 20, 2017 6:51 pm Your house is beautiful Pearz, everytime i visit circa i always admire it as i am building there. Hope your house will be done in no time. I agree with the price rise is rediculous. When i asked one sales rep they said because of the demand of customers wanting to build with carlisle cause of quality finish they cant push customers away but to raise prices as that way will even quality and demand for them. Having said that i still feel like a 20-30k jump is way too much but i guess they had to do something to reduce numbers while keeping money in the pocket. I kind of figured that would be the case, we have Henley now and they have an excellent build quality and we looked at Carlisle for our second house but we didn't like the space downstairs but their upstairs space is excellent. We were looking at the Colorado 37 but the kitchen/living/dining was just far too cramped compared to the henleys we are looking at as we would more likely entertain down stairs not up stairs Re: Canterbury - Final Stages 379Jan 22, 2017 9:03 pm Hi Pearz, Hope all goes well on Tuesday. I liked colarado too cause of the naster wir and the activity upstairs but the downstairs was poorly done. Ended up going with Claremont as the downstairs is very roomy but upstairs honestly i haven't got much to say hahahah i would suggest nothing is unreasonable for PCI. we did all sorts, including checking the hot water, checking all the GPO's had power, testing that the showers were… 9 98917 Hi, I am approaching end of the build.
