Have you heard much from the developers? We were initially were told land would title around June. Then I got an email a few weeks back from our conveyancer stating March. Our broker assured us they were being optimistic and it probably wouldn't be that early if at all. Definitely had me worried $ wise. We've got basically the exact same msg from our conveyancer stating March. We are quietly hoping it gets delayed longer than June so we can save more $$$. I'm always asking the developer questions re titling of land, when the entrance fence will go up, clarification on design guidelines, basically interrogating them for info. We are still deciding between Mainvue and Carlisle at the moment. I'm surprised more Eliston neighbours haven't jumped on this post. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 48Dec 07, 2016 3:38 am Such conflicting info hey?! Johnsalt was advised around 6 month delay but you guys have been told your release is earlier? So confusing! We'd personally be thrilled if our Aug 17 date was brought forward a bit, it seems so long away! ? I guess what happens, happens, but certainly appreciate the updates, thank you! Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 50Dec 10, 2016 3:53 pm Hi arch, thanks for setting up the Facebook page. I'll keep posting on here as I don't have Facebook (perfect excuse now to set up an account). Unfortunately the SPEAR website is offline until Monday so I can't check any updates on each release. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 51Dec 10, 2016 11:59 pm Congratulations neighbour, the estate is selling really quick which is a good thing. Also there's been so many releases since we bought our block. Did you go for a drive through the estate today? It looks amazing seeing everything take shape. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 54Dec 12, 2016 5:45 pm TandH Jinx! Was just about to post. So exciting. Can't wait to see some houses popping up! Eeek! Me either. I'm too tempted to go late at night and see if we can find our block, don't want to get in trouble though. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 56Dec 12, 2016 6:11 pm TandH Haha! We've driven in about 4 or 5 times during the day on the weekend when the bollards are out of the way, but then found our way in through hartleigh estate next door. Just do it! Okay, you convinced me! ? Next time we're down that way! ? Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 58Dec 12, 2016 9:06 pm Wonder who'll build first. Super exciting that the first stage has titled. Now waiting for the rest to title. Before you know it they'll be houses popping up everywhere. Keek, my daughter has training each Wednesday and I go for a drive through the estate each week and I've never been told off or spoken to. You will love it driving through each section of the estate. Cant wait for the park in the next release to be completed. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 59Dec 13, 2016 11:14 am firsttime_homies1401 Wonder who'll build first. Will be great to see it start to develop It's all about wireless, self install now. The cost/benefit of wired setups for the house are no longer what they used to be. Lots of wireless options.
