It's looking very nice though. I've been locked out so really can't get good pics, only through open windows. Our tiles are nearly complete and then we have kitchen booked at end of November. I'll have to find my selections to see what the name of the tiles were. Can't wait to see your kitchen, it's all coming together very nicely. Wish I had more exciting photos to send you! Haha How hilarious would that be, the exact same house, a Paris 34 with the same tiles - Love It !! Love seeing your backyard pics as we have a granny flat attached to ours, so it's good to see how ours would of looked like. What are the colours of your kitchen & butlers? Ours is all plain white cabinets with 40mm stone greyish benchtops called Clamshell, With white glass splashbacks. Very clean looking so we can add the colours around it with stools & pendant lighting. Hopefully will turn out nice. I'll add a couple of pictures of what we chose, and I think they are the same. We went a little different in the ensuite to the main bathroom-Dark grey wall tiles, black vanity and grey stone. Our kitchen was such a hard decision... we originally wanted all black cabinetry, but being a smaller kitchen with no natural light directly off it we went less conservative. White stone bench - I changed to the silestone brand rather than ceaserstone and was much happier with the almost pure white we managed to get. Two tone cabinets with upper cupboards white and lower dark grey with a black glass splash back. Bathrooms are black cabinets with grey stone. I did get a photo, but not a great one - very happy with our choice of bricks though. Re: Our Fowler Homes Paris 34 - Jordan Springs 67Nov 24, 2016 11:16 pm Well they are definitely the same bathroom tiles as mine lol, can't believe it, great taste Those bottom two tiles look like an upgrade as they look awesome. The colours you chose for cabinetry and stone sound very modern and bold combinations and will look lovely. And have to agree with you about your bricks - very nice, loving the texture on them. Hanging out for some more progress shots..... We just had our electrical rough in yesterday, but still no cladding on the outside and scaffold up on the other side of the house to put the cladding up, they took it down before it needed to be and had to put it back up. Really hoping for lock up before Christmas. How are you guys going, you must be at handover soon? We are several weeks away from handover, probably sometime in Feb. our kitchen cabinets are in both the house and granny flat. My SS said the stone benches will be installed on Monday. So hopefully can get better pics of them after install. But here are some pics to wet your appetite. So much more open than ours I'm a little jealous, but the theatre room had to stay sealed off from the kitchen (I still don't think we will use it that much). Have you got your cupboards fitted out yet? I'm dying to see what the pantry is going to end up looking like so I can start planning that layout a bit. I was not anticipating the aircon ducting to come down in the middle of it- it wasn't on our plans and has seriously compromised space. What are you doing with your nook/gallery area upstairs where the middle front window is? I can't decide now whether we will make it a study nook which was the original intention, or have a very low seat for a reading/ watching the storms roll in nook. By the way your granny flat looks bigger than the house we are currently living in! the kitchen is HUGE. Re: Our Fowler Homes Paris 34 - Jordan Springs 71Dec 08, 2016 1:26 am We have 4 kids and they all watch different things on their laptops/iPads and their TV and PlayStation will be upstairs in their space, so we knew that our theatre room would not be utilised as much - so we chose to just open it all up. I'm sure you guys will love it and use it to just relax and vedge out... Our pantry and linen are not fitted out yet, but will post some pics for you when done. Oh and don't tell me about the aircon ducting. I really don't get how they don't plan these things better from the beginning. They put 2x ducting down my sons wardrobe making the already small robe even smaller AND they couldn't get any ducting down to the living room because of the steel beam blocking it, so they put 2 vents in the dining area - they said it'll cool all over the living area because it's open plan.....I hope they are right. Great question about that upstairs window gallery thingy lol. My wife and I were thinking the same, maybe just put a cute armchair there for a reading corner. We already put a nook in the living area, we needed a big one to fit all of our little ones when doing homework etc: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our Fowler Homes Paris 34 - Jordan Springs 72Dec 17, 2016 10:12 am How is it all going for you now?? I hope they are moving along..... I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden our house has had tradies nearly every day there for a couple of weeks. Its like they want to finish before Christmas, but I know they won't make it. SS said it will likely be end of Jan - 1st week of Feb to move in. Anyway here are a few pics.... Cladding half went on today... I just really want it sealed up already from the weather- the cladding has only been sitting there for almost two months. Gyprock to go on over the break. I'll get some pictures up as soon(nothing has changed since the last photos) as they take down the scaffold, finish up the half finished lower roof tiles on the front - they ran out of tiles- and the upstairs family side cladding done. We had nothing at all completed last week as far as I am aware - I think the rain mucked up things on the Thursday and Friday a bit though. Gosh really moving along for you though. It's great to see things coming together. Keep up the photos- at least there is something to show at your house! A bit worried that the roof tiles on the lower roof over garage are not finished and no cladding - just sarking over the part of the house above the garage. Hopefully all holds up and we don't have any bad downpours or else that gyprock is in trouble. You can now sense the space you have and your plan come to life. It's looking really nice....love your entrance space/hall. We had to narrow ours so we could fit the granny flat. I wouldn't worry if the lower roof has just the sarking as that will direct the water down to the gutters.....you don't have any holes in it though? As that will dampen the ceiling gyprock. We'll hear we are at Christmas time - hope you and your family have a great break. Just some picks of our shower screen, mirrors and cement render that were done on Thursday: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Our Fowler Homes Paris 34 - Jordan Springs 78Jan 25, 2017 6:39 pm Hey Rayges, Sorry, been a bit slack with pictures for a while - progress hasn't really been great since last photos hoping it will start moving again soon and after break. Those stairs look fantastic, I'm really glad we have the same ones. We are doing render(or maybe tile now- I found a beautiful stack stone lookalike that I absolutely love) and driveway/concrete ourselves and I'm not sure how they are planning to paint the front cladding though. Our cladding colour is windspray - but yes they really do look very much alike- although I do think mine is throwing a little green which I'm not overly happy about. Not long now for you then, bet your all packed up and ready to roll on in. I have started packing things already, ordered most of our furniture - thankfully, won't be ready to be delivered until early April for our lounges.
