Not sure how long the painting job will go. I m thinking 2 weeks, need to check with the supervisor. Then it will be fitting taps, door handles, electrical parts and garage door. Started to wonder how far we are away from the handover.... WEEK 14: Kitchen completed except for the Bench top. Skirting boards, internal window frames and Doors installed. Grage Door yet to be completed. Preparation work for wet area tiling completed. WEEK 13: All the roof corners completed. Waterproofing completed on 24/09. Supervisor said, next is lock-up stage where doors will get installed. WEEK 12: Internal walls completed on 14/09. They are working on plastering the corners. WEEK 11: Basic internal Electrical wiring completed. 1/2 of wall insulation completed. WEEK 10: Bricklaying finished on 31/08 (4 weeks). Eves completed 2/Feb WEEK 9: Bricklaying still going on. WEEK 8: 11 days of Bricklaying, still not completed yet. WEEK 7: Bricks laying have started. WEEK 6: 1/8 (MON) completed the roof tiles. Bricks arrived at the site (3/8 ). But the from Wed~Sun it rained So only 2 rows of bricks in due to rain WEEK 5: Gutters installed. Fitting of roof tiles started 29/07 (FRI). WEEK 4: Frame completed 21/07. Windows installed. That is WK 17 and That is as per Agreement. What a relief.. Neighbors told us that, supervisor was at the site everyday last couple of weeks. So looks like he pushed it to get is finish by 17th week. Congratulations thats fantastic!!! When will they do handover? Still no bloody progress for us. They stuffed up our working days so instead of 20days ending today it ends the 25th. Not holding my breathe though. Zero progress on site and havent been contacted by our supervisor or anything to know who they are? Regarding your issue, Contact the head office reception and get the construction office number and building managers name that belong to your area. Also ask for the time & date they will be in the office as well. Then I called them to get an updated before waiting for them to call. Thats what we did . Good Luck... Only issue is bank work will not be completed by then. After bank work, I need to get external flooring guys to measure and install. Thats 3 weeks. Hopefully, by then I can do my fence, driveway and lawn. But ALL DONE !!! great work by supervisor to complete in 17th week aftey very slow brick laying process. I'll do a sum-up after the final inspection. WEEK 16: Paint job completed 14/10.
