So just got Friday's prestart costs in......we've come in under budget!

Yay

We got EVERYTHING costed. It came to over $60,000, and we managed to dwindle it down to only $23,000 for our Prestart.

Its actually Della Vita Stone (ours is Carrera White) Our sales guy threw in the waterfall ends, but we still paid for the upgraded colour.
*if I ever described it as essastone, I apologise.

Im tipping ours will be excessively high as well & will need to get a big fat red marker out to start crossing item off

Lol no worries at all, they're trying to make me use QStone, but my point is if I'm paying a $500 admin fee because they don't have an account, I should be able to use my choice not theirs. Who would have thought getting a plain white bench would be so hard ( their Corian 'upgrade' came back at $11000! & its acrylic?!)

I nearly fell over when I seen our prices, I was expecting the same. We have full height ensuite, bathroom & powder room tiling & the ensuite is all rectified porcelain. We weren't excessive but managed to get pretty much everything we wanted

Putting as much in the original contract definitely makes a huge difference.

I've noticed things missing like frameless mirrors, are these usually listed? I'm just wondering do I act dumb and not mention it, or say something and get stung with more money? lol

It does tell you whether your mirrors are frameless or framed on your addenda.
We paid extra for frameless in the ensuite and had framed in the other two bathrooms. I don't think it was a lot to upgrade to frameless.

We paid extra for framed ironically! I didn't want the clips holding them on so upgraded to lovely neat frames.

We upgraded to frameless, and there are no clips at all. So glad we upgraded! Wasn't that much from memory.
