Browse Forums Building A New House Re: First home builder! 4Sep 04, 2016 10:04 pm Welcome I know them feels about being in council we are currently in council, hoping to be approved mid September One suggestion is maybe extending the eaves on the garage side where laundry and bathroom is but great use of space with the floor plan What size block did you buy? GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 Re: First home builder! 5Sep 05, 2016 6:29 am Thanks! Our size block is a 454m2. It's a narrow block but so I think my partner did think about the eaves being bigger but decided against. Was having a read through your thread and I love your tile choices - similar colors to ours we are expecting our colorist appointment to call us this week to book our appointment but in the meantime we were too excited and have everything decided. Will post a few photos after our appointments Re: First home builder! 6Sep 05, 2016 7:21 am Haha yes my thread, it's a tad long all the good stuff is on page one Can't wait to see your selections if we have similar taste GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 Re: First home builder! 8Sep 16, 2016 6:14 pm Hey, we're in council still. And we have our tile appointment Thursday! We are no longer going to the color appointment we were meant to go to as the company they used has been sacked sooo that's in limbo at the moment. My sales consultant told us today she is setting up something and will let us know when that's ready to go, we're not worried tho we will still have a few weeks ahead of us for council. The bank should have the ready to commence letter next week to woo hoo. So once were out full steam ahead Re: First home builder! 9Sep 22, 2016 6:50 pm Today we had our Beaumont appointment! Re: First home builder! 10Sep 22, 2016 7:02 pm Hi there, have enjoyed reading your thread so far. I am building close by at Wallis Creek at Gillieston Heights. It's a lovely area. Hopefully your out of council soon! Luckily I was with Maitland council and I was in and out by the 7th working day. Re: First home builder! 11Sep 22, 2016 7:05 pm Thanks! I think I've been stalking your post (or seen your name on comments) I've read so many they all seem like one these days! Haha We're so excited to move we also love the area! Wow that is awesome! I'm so jealous! Our friends just came out and they were 5 weeks with Cessnock Re: First home builder! 12Sep 22, 2016 7:11 pm Hahah it's all a small world. I also just noticed your following Ben+Lindsay - they are my neighbors building across the road! I am kinda over the excitement stage, currently waiting on my brickies to start, which is suppose to be tomorrow. ? I'm actually more excited about all of the new furniture for the house! What street are you building in? I've seen a couple of perry in your estate, a fair few harvest homes, alworth and coral. I keep stalking the Mac jones on the corner as we are pretty much on par with each other. Re: First home builder! 14Sep 22, 2016 7:16 pm Yes I'm totally guilty of the coral posts because coral was a builder we were interested in but decided on Perry, and there's no Perry threads on here! Lol Oh so are we! And I'm excited to get out the new bedspreads and paintings and Kmart knick knacks I'm accumulating haha Fingers crossed for bricks!! We're on Brokenwood, lot 143. Us and another guy are actually both building the Malibu 196 in the same street, we have a Beechwood between us and luckily we changed windows, a little bit of the facade and driveway so they won't look the same. Could have been twins lol Re: First home builder! 15Sep 22, 2016 7:17 pm Milestone Hi I love your hexagon black tiles, we have similar colours and your plan is lovely. View topic our modified Stradbroke Thanks Milestone!
